Terms of Service

Forge A CV ("the service") helps you store your work history, organize it into a master resume, and create tailored versions for jobs and industries. Every résumé includes access to an editable cover letter. Designs, portraits, PDF export, résumé emailing and optional public links help you present and share your work. The service is provided as-is and may change over time.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

You retain all rights to the resumes, documents, portraits and text you upload or create. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display that content solely to operate the service for you — for example, to extract resume details, generate tailored versions and produce PDF exports.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your content. Forge A CV is designed never to invent jobs, dates, credentials or metrics, but you should always review generated resumes and cover letters before sending them to an employer.

You decide whether to enable a public résumé link or email a PDF. Review personal contact details and portrait images before sharing. Anyone with an enabled link may view its document; switching it off cannot recall downloaded copies or previously sent emails. Only upload images you have permission to use, and only send résumés to appropriate recipients.

Parts of the service use artificial intelligence to extract, rephrase and select content. AI output may contain errors and is provided for you to review and edit. You remain responsible for the final content of any resume or cover letter you use.

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use
• Use the service to deceive employers or third parties
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or probe its security
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. You may stop using the service and request account-data deletion by contacting us.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge A CV is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
